Last Day...I Swear...

So, today is really my last day at my company. I swear! After a few failed attempts to actually leave the company, today will finally be the day. There isn't any more runway left for me to slowly skid into the horizon.

So, I have a little bit of a going away lunch today with a couple colleagues, and then a going away happy hour at a local bar. In the middle of all this, I'll be handling my exit interview as well as all the paperwork for my health insurance, etc.

I'll leave today a little sad, a lot excited but mostly nervous. Why did I quit my job that payed well to live off of saving and student loans? Please tell me I've done the right thing!
